About Pat Czarnecki, HTR

Patricia (Pat) Czarnecki is a registered horticultural therapist by the American Horticultural Therapy Association and owner of GreEn’ergy, LLC—a New Jersey-based company that specializes in horticultural therapy programs and garden design for people of all ages and abilities. 

Pat has a Masters degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, is a horticultural therapy instructor at The New York Botanical Garden, past Vice President, New Jersey on the Board of the Mid Atlantic Chapter of the American Horticultural Therapy Association, an active Master Gardener through Rutgers University, and public speaker on the many benefits of horticultural therapy.

About GreEn’ergy, LLC

GreEn’ergy professionals design, develop, and deliver effective horticultural therapy, vocational training, and special-event gardening programs for people of all ages and abilities.  Ongoing programs and seasonal workshops are conducted Monday-Sunday throughout the year, both indoors and out, to best service clients’ needs.

GreEn’ergy programs are adaptable to service individuals with different levels of ability in virtually any living space or work place.  Sites include private and public residences (e.g., independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, public housing), adult day care and senior centers, rehab and medical centers, correctional facilities, corporate offices, schools, community centers, greenhouses, private and public gardens.

GreEn’ergy conducts private group garden tours and horticultural therapy programs at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum near Morristown, NJ--a beautiful 127-acre arboretum with accessible gardens and educational center, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Visit http://www.arboretumfriends.org for site description. 

GreEn’ergy provides education on horticultural therapy by means of custom in-service training programs to facilities wanting to start or grow their own HT program and public speaking presentations to activity professionals, garden clubs, and various organizations.
