MEN'S MONTH

June is Celebration of Men's Month

At CT. Baptist Homes we are taking it one step “Father.”Summer time is the time for fishing, barbecues and Father's Day. On the third Sunday in June, Father's Day is observed and it's a perfect day to combine all three pastimes. During the month of June, we’ll take out our fishin’ poles, and meet our Residents at The Fishin’ Hole. If we don’t hook a perch or bass, we’ll cool our toes in dewy grass. What a trip to the Great Outdoors to celebrate Father’s Day.

Many of the trivial things that we do each day may recall special times and experiences shared with either family or fathers. We have some memories to share with you from our Residents who remember well...
“My Father was very giving. He taught me to share, no matter how small. I was very fortunate to have a Father so loving.” – Marie H.

“My Father brought us up because my Mother passed away at a young age. My Father had to work all day and I had to do all the housework. I had a hard life and I don’t regret a minute of it!” – Sophie B.
