Thank You Joey

The first day I started work at the LTC facility as an Activation Coordinator was the beginning of my most wonderful adventure.

Feeling unsure of myself I stood at the reception desk and tried to fit in. Let me tell you a shaking thirty year old did fit into a room full of self confident eighty and ninety year olds.

Soon I caught the attention of one elderly gentlemen who came to me and said he would allow me to borrow one of his many smiles until I found one of my own and then I had to return his.

He quickly put me at ease and soon I found my smile and gave him back his.

Twenty plus years I am still smiling and bringing smiles to hundreds of people each day.

Thank you Joey for making me smile that day.
