"Taking the Write
Path: Recreation Documentation for Quality of Life"
This seminar is designed to provide an educational opportunity for Activity/Recreation
Professionals and Creative Arts Therapists in Long-Term Care facilities
to learn and utilize documentation techniques, which will enhance the
quality of life of the Resident.
This is an intense and comprehensive workshop that meets the documentation
component of NCCAP's Track 5 for Activity Director Certified. Participants
will engage in group exercises and fun games! Refreshments and lunch
will be served.

Participants will be able to:
1) Have a thorough understanding of the Recreation assessment and documentation
process
2) Have a thorough understanding and ability to complete sections
N and T1A of the MDS 2.0 and write RAP summaries
3) Demonstrate the ability to
write individualized, interdisciplinary care plans
4) Incorporate Recreational activity interventions into the comprehensive
care plan and into daily programming
