The Winter Solstice is the shortest day, longest night of the year. It is a time for reflection, going inward, having patience, slowing down and looking forward to welcoming back the light. Each day forward will bring more light which I greatly appreciate knowing that. It’s a time to think about What you really want. What are your true dreams? Hold that energy and it bring it forth into the new year.
The Christmas Star and Winter Solstice
December 21, 2020 was referred to as the Christmas Star or the Star of Bethlehem. Many of us were driving around for hours trying to capture pictures of this historical event. Of course it was cloudy by me on this evening. I finally saw it on the following evening and that was the best picture I could take. This event held heightened astronomical, astrological, and spiritual significance. Simply stated, Jupiter and Saturn were in grand conjunction (close together) which happens about every 20 years. However, this was the closest alignment these two have had in hundreds of years. It was a meeting or collision of opposing energies of Jupiter and Saturn. This event also occured during the Winter Solstice. In the video below, I discuss crystals for the Christmas Star and the Winter Solstice.
